Our Services

Worldwide there is a need to solve many big problems with technology and engineering. In Australia there is a high demand for, yet undersupply of, technically skilled young people. One of the reasons for the undersupply is that there is a teacher, and specifically STEM teacher, shortage. Engineering Project Kits has partnered with a STEM education course provider so that schools with STEM teacher shortages can still run STEM programs (via outsourcing). This provider runs short courses in 8 countries (Australian, USA, New Zealand, Indonesia, Portugal, Malaysia, Myanmar, South Africa). They provide these courses to 350 schools, to about 21000 students each year.

High School Course #1

6 Schools, 5 Tutors, 3 Days

One pinball machine built

Hackathon Style Pinball Build

Six schools participating

20 students per school (120 total)

3 full days at one host school

5 Tutors (across 5 activity tables)

8 Students per Table (40 per Session)

3 x 2hr 40 student Sessions per day

4 Kits 1/2 built each Session

10 students per school

1 host school (can rotate between)

2 Tutors present, one day a week

2 schools per 2hr Session (i.e., 20 students)

2 Kits built per school every 2 weeks
